In its first incarnation the website was centrally updated, artists would send their artworks to us and we would update the site. Sadly this model was not financially sustainable. After a period of inactivity and thanks to advances in web technology it is now possible to empower the artists and enable them to upload their own words and photos directly on the website. This is what island-of-art.com is all about really: promoting artists artworks to a world audience.
